Diabetic Kitty Introduction
Your Pet is a Diabetic Cat…. Ha,Ha,Ha…I’ve never heard of a Diabetic Kitty or a Diabetic Dog…Diabetic Pets? Are you for real?….
Some people are just plain inconsiderate! I don’t know, human kind just aggravates me to no end. They or should I say “we” just can’t believe other beings have the same needs, maladies, feelings, and wants as us. If you are a pet person then you know what I mean.
Others just can’t believe that we as pet lovers
more often put our pets needs before others or even our own. We love our pets, talk to our pets and feel pain if they feel pain.
I guess I should not be so hard on people. I myself didn’t realize pets could have diabetes until my pet fell ill to the disease. But, I am certainly intolerant to the people who say “Put the pet down and move on with your life.” What a difference a little people education can make for a pet.
You know I’ve come to believe that our pets are truly the best friends we will ever have. They don’t ask for much, but they do need us to feed, water and love them. They never forsake us or purposely leave us and at many times they are who we end up talking to when others are not around. Think I’m sick? Think again. There is a growing army of us out there that our pets are indeed a part of the family or maybe the only family we have.
When one of my two cats “Blacktop” started getting sick I was concerned and quickly becoming devastated. I had Blacktop for 5 years. He was the runt of his mom’s (Princess) litter of 6. He was so little that he fit in the palm of my hand. He is solid black with no specks of any other color anywhere. Blacktop was the loudest of all the baby kittens and he cried the most. But wait. Let me tell you how this all got started….see My Diabetic Cat Discovery and Symptom Awareness >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
